Bukuya
Village in Fiji:
Description: Fiji relies on tourist dollars and it's the islands that bring in those
tourist dollars.....and if people are going to fly all that way then maybe a visit to
Bukuya, or a similar village, is worth consideration.
The Islands of Love:
We knew from our lecture on board Oceanic Princess that the Trobriand Islands possessed
the fabled reputation as the 'Islands of Love', but what was taking place on the pearl
white sands as we approached struck us as something much more forthright!
